The new Braillephone Generation IV was developed to provide people who are deaf/blid with a portable communications system that has the ability to meet the needs of the information age.  Braillephone allows a person who is deaf/blind to communicate over telephone lines with another person using either a TTY or via a deaf relay service.

In addition to its telephone capability, Braillephone is designed to enable people who are deaf/blind to access most Microsoft MS-DOS or Windows-based compatible computer systems when used with a compatible ocmputer and optional software.
